Procurement Coordinator – Luxembourg

Rizzani de Eccher S.p.A. for one project in Luxembourg is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality, responsibilities include maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

Main responsabilities:

  • defining and managing the procurement strategy plan
  • managing the full life cycle procurement process, supervising the activities from selecting suppliers to issuing orders, to be in accordance and conformity with the quality standards and the project’s timings, budgets and needs;
  • managing relations with suppliers and subcontractors, conducting in first person the negotiations of primary relevance (vendor selection, sourcing, request for proposal, negotiation and contract) and defining procurement and supply conditions in terms of cost, quality, type of service, timings and payments, in collaboration with the PM/Area Manager/ Procurement Manager/Project Procurement team, and in accordance with the Group’s targets and guidelines;
  • monitoring and guiding the procurement activities and organisation and check the activities carried out by the Procurement Coordinators and Officers;
  • supporting the scouting analysis of his reference market, obtaining pricing and quotations in line with the market price;
  • assessing the supplier’s quality and services performances and defining subsequently intervention’s plan to increase the supply chain efficiency, periodically reviewing the criteria for the supplier qualifications;
  • monitoring the creation of the vendor lists, divided for product group and/or geographical market, sharing the key information with both corporate and local procurement offices through dedicated systems and reports;
  • periodically reviewing the spending for procurement activities, identifying possible improvements to reduce cost;

Mandatory requirements:

  • Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering;
  • Minimum of 8/10 years direct experience in civil/commercial buildings in the EU in similar roles
  • Excellent command of French and English; Italian proficiency would be a plus
  • Contractual skills, capable of reading and implementing the most important contractual terms;
  • Capable of carrying out prime cost driver value analyses;
