Description

The project, being undertaken on behalf of RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, consists of the “executive design and contracted execution of the works for the construction of the Railway Link to Venice Airport” and is outlined in a new double-track railway line of about 8 km, of which 3.4 km will be in a tunnel, that will connect the existing main Venice-Trieste railway line with Marco Polo International Airport.

The new railway infrastructure, will run alongside the highway link road approaching the Airport through a tunnel, where it is planned to build a two-track underground station connected to the airport terminal. Benefiting from this strategic project will be a local supply chain of more than 300 suppliers, subcontractors and operators.

Description

The work involves the remodeling of hangar 831 and the construction of a facility where aircraft can be washed. The goal of the project is to improve facilities for NATO maritime patrol aircraft. This is part of a much larger project that the US government is undertaking at Keflavík International Airport. The project is twofold: part of it is arranged by the US Navy and the other part by the US Air Force.

Description

Design and construction of facilities and infrastructure of one of the most strategically important air bases of the Persian Gulf located approximately 45 km South-east of Doha.

The scope included design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning, and warranty of all works (civil & MEP) related to power distribution.

In addition to civil construction and MEP works for sub-stations, HV panel, transformers, 11 KV cabling and miscellaneous accessories were all provided to local authority requirements.

The project was carried out under the constant monitoring of a sophisticated security service and with strict secrecy requirements, due to the nature of installation.
