<h4>Description</h4>
<p>Inaugurated in 1985 and designed by Studio Matildi, the Cadore bridge is an extraordinary piece of engineering that spans 1,150 meters, reaching a maximum height of 184 meters above the Piave River. This strategic infrastructure is part of the SS 51 “di Alemagna” highway, connecting the mountainous areas of Cadore, Comelico and Cortina d&#8217;Ampezzo to the Veneto plain.</p>
<p>Crossing the Piave Valley, the bridge is a key part of the link between Caralte and Tai di Cadore, consisting of three access viaducts and an imposing arch-frame bridge, which forms its structural heart.</p>
<p>Over the years, the Cadore bridge has ensured the safety and fluidity of the road system in one of the most picturesque areas of the country. However, the infrastructure now shows some critical issues that require targeted interventions to preserve its functionality and safety over time. The current redevelopment project aims to resolve these issues.</p>

<p>The project, being undertaken on behalf of RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, consists of the &#8220;executive design and contracted execution of the works for the construction of the Railway Link to Venice Airport&#8221; and is outlined in a new double-track railway line of about 8 km, of which 3.4 km will be in a tunnel, that will connect the existing main Venice-Trieste railway line with Marco Polo International Airport.</p>
<p>The new railway infrastructure, will run alongside the highway link road approaching the Airport through a tunnel, where it is planned to build a two-track underground station connected to the airport terminal. Benefiting from this strategic project will be a local supply chain of more than 300 suppliers, subcontractors and operators.</p>

<p>RAIL BALTICA is a completely new rail infrastructure project aimed at integrating the Baltic states into the European rail network. The project involves five European Union countries-Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and, indirectly, Finland. It will connect Tallinn, Pärnu, Riga, Panevežys, Kaunas, Vilnius and Warsaw with a 249 km/h high-speed rail line for passenger traffic and 120 km/h for freight traffic.</p>

<p>The project includes the design and construct of a 460m long pedestrian-cyclist bridge connecting Brisbane CBD to the Kangaroo Point, crossing over the Brisbane River. The main structure is a single 90m tall mast cable-stayed bridge, whose deck is composed of structural steel and composite concrete slab. The project was awarded in July 2021 and is expected to be open to the public in late 2024.</p>
<p>Rizzani de Eccher Australia, as an integrated specialist within BESIX Watpac organization, was involved from the initial preliminary stages of the Expression of Interest (EOI), through to shortlisting and tender via Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), to conduct all the required construction engineering studies, methodologies and temporary works required to construct and install the bridge within the constrained and limited site area. The preferred method to erect the steel deck superstructure in segmental modules supported on temporary portals was deemed feasible and ultimately implemented, with specific sizes and splice locations determined very early to maximize crane capacity and minimize site transportations. A similar approach was implemented for the pylon modules that were delivered by barge and installed by the world’s biggest tower crane by MARR, with integrated access system to facilitate installation and welding operations at heights.</p>
<p>Tensa also participated to the project, and supplied and supervised the installation and commissioning of the cable-stay system, which were installed by using a unique custom-made Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) equipment supplied by Alimak/Manntech, and the Tuned Mass Damper in the deck, which was required to manage the dynamic behavior of the structure.</p>
<p>The distinctive architectural features of the unique mast and the cable-stay bridge will progressively set the KPGB as one of Brisbane’s landmarks, and is expected to attract worldwide attention during Brisbane 2032 Olympic &amp; Paralympic Games, ultimately boosting tourism and economic growth, and leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.</p>

<h4>Description</h4>
<p>The purpose of the project was to replace an old bridge over the Roskilde Fjord, built in 1935, and reduce the serious traffic congestion for the Frederikksund community.</p>
<p>The scope of works included the design and construction of a two-lane highway 8.2km long, a new high bridge, as well as 1 km of approach roads and several smaller civil structures, such as fauna overpasses and cycling lanes.</p>
<p>The highway and bridge cross a site which is an EU Natura 2000 zone. In particular, the fjord zone is home to several bird species, as well as a protected aquatic plant and eelgrass, and is a major refuge for waterfowl. Building here was therefore subject to strict environmental and social requirements, designed both to conserve the fjord’s natural beauty and habitats and minimise undesirable impacts on the local community.</p>
<p>This civil engineering work, completed 3 months ahead of schedule, is Rizzani de Eccher’s first project in Denmark.</p>

<h4>Description</h4>
<p>Construction of a 1,5 km-long railway bridge over the Neris river, near the city of Jonava.<br />
The bridge &#8211; the longest bridge ever built not only in Lithuania but in the Baltics &#8211; will be erectedf using different types of multiple spans, including cast-in-place from traveler, cast-in-place supported on false work and span by span cantilever.</p>
<p>The project will be implemented in strict compliance with the regulations for the protection of the nearby Natura 2000 site. Therefore, there will be no pillars in the 150 m-wide section spanning the river, in order to benefit both the migration of fish and the growth of vegetation on the bottom of the river.<br />
Being the bridge constructed near residential areas, noise barriers, noise absorbing walls, vibration dampers, as well as special embankments will be built.</p>

The elevated viaduct was both of the segmental span by span and balanced cantilever types. Overslung launching girders, falseworks and cranes, as well as lifting frames were used to built the structure.</p>
<p>The impressive prefabrication yard spread over 540,000 sqm. It included 53 mold casting positions and 10 gantry cranes. This equipment allowed the production of more than 16,000 precast concrete segments in just 20 months, employing 1,100 workers and 90 people of managerial and technical staff.</p>

<h4>Description</h4>
<p>Execution of viaduct superstructure works related to the &#8220;Route 2020 Metro Rail Project&#8221; of the metropolitan network of Dubai.<br />
The approx. 12 km-long viaduct of both the segmental span by span and the balanced cantilever types was cast in place by the use of the overslung launching girder, falsework and cranes, as well as lifting frames.</p>
