Description

Construction of the Red North Elevated and at-grade section of Doha Metropolitan network, running from a connection with Lusail’s light rail line to Msheireb via West Bay, with an overall length of 6,7 km.
Works comprised the design and construction of all civil engineering and building works for the Metro section, including elevated structures, at-grade section, a cut and cover tunnel, one at-grade station, one elevated station, and stabling areas.
The elevated structures were of the segmental span by span type and were erected by overslung launching girders.

Description

Extension works of two sections of the southern part of the Bucharest ring road, which will go from 2 to 4 lanes, for a stretch of about 15 km.

Scope of works includes the construction of two underground passages with a length of 600 m each.

Description

Design and construction of the National Route No. 77 has been identified as a key milestone for the economic and social development of the country.

The project, connecting the port of Djen Djen to the inland and the East-West motorway, will be a major economic catalyst and an important factor in restarting the whole economic regional sector.

The RN77 project is a challenging undertaking due to a number of specific factors and requirements:

• challenging geological conditions in the central part of the alignment;
• extreme meteorological conditions;
• deep excavation required to place piles and pile caps;
• location in a highly seismic area;
• management of multiple simultaneous work fronts with an average of 5,000 employees on site.

Description

Design and construction of 11.9 km of wastewater conveyor tunnels (north and south tunnels) from Manhoufa Sewage Treatment Plant to Al Hair Sewage Treatment Plant using the TBM method.
Both tunnels are excavated with a double-shield TBM machine.

During excavation, concrete segmental lining was installed, the internal walls are coated with protective PVC or HDPE membrane.
