#brisbanecitycouncil Kangaroo Point Bridge reached another important milestone through June 2024, with the erection of the last bridge deck module above the Brisbane River, which occurred after the successful completion of the installation and stressing of the last of the 32 cable stays supplied by hashtag#Tensa.
hashtag#RizzanideEccher has played a key role, within the Connect Brisbane Consortium led by hashtag#BESIXWatpac, since the early design phases through temporary works development, shop drawing management, construction engineering, sequencing and planning, to ultimately ensure safe and smooth delivery of the bridge elements travelling via barge from the Port of Brisbane to the City, and lift in position by heavy-lift cranes.
Our team consisted of specialized and experienced staff who has also helped the BESIX Watpac team in the early engineering, modelling and planning for other areas of the project such as the restaurant on the bridge, the Plaza works at CBD area and the high-quality finishes such as golden aluminum works supported on dedicated steel structures, and stainless steel balustrades. ... The Surrey Langley SkyTrain project, Canada

Following a competitive procurement process, the Province of British Columbia has selected a preferred proponent team to design, build and finance the elevated guideway and associated roadworks, utilities and active transportation elements of the Surrey Langley SkyTrain.
The Surrey Langley SkyTrain project is a 16-kilometre extension of the Expo Line from King George Station to Langley City Centre.
The preferred proponent team selected to enter final contract negotiations with the Province is SkyLink Guideway Partners (SLGP), which is comprised of Dragados Canada, Inc., Ledcor Investments Inc., Ledcor Mining Ltd. and SYSTRA International Bridge Technologies Inc.
Rizzani de Eccher together with Dragados Canada and Ledcor Mining is the subcontractor selected by SLGP for the prefabrication, transportation and installation of about 4500 segments of the superstructure.
As the Province enters final contract negotiations with the preferred proponent, the team will start some early works to prepare for major construction.
Once complete, the project will provide high-quality, low-cost transportation for people in Surrey, Langley and throughout Metro Vancouver. Major construction on the Surrey Langley SkyTrain project is expected to begin this year.

Women's Day is an important opportunity for us to reflect on the importance of equal opportunities and to promote the presence of women in traditionally male-dominated sectors such as construction. Marina Bonazza de Eccher represents an example of a woman making a difference in her career by playing a significant role in the development and success of the company without neglecting her family commitments.

As a member of the family that manages the company, she has contributed to establish a solid basis for its operativity and has worked tirelessly to improve and grow the business over the years.

The courage and determination she showed working in a traditionally male-dominated environment during a period in history when women's roles and capabilities were not fully recognised is certainly remarkable. Facing the challenges of the male-dominated work environment and fighting against the lack of recognition and equal opportunities for women requires great resilience and determination.

Rizzani de Eccher is driving for the finishing line at its flagship project in Amsterdam, branded Yvie by Owner Union Investments, and which will be delivered on target in Q2 this year!

Having designed and constructed over 110,000 m2 of hotel and mixed use space from a standing start in 2020, and whilst dealing with the effects on the project of the COVID pandemic and market turmoil linked to the energy crisis, the end is now in sight and over 600 persons are working round the clock to finish-off and ensure that Union and its prestigious tenants can soon take advantage of this iconic property, who’s design was conceived by local Architect Team V.

Maritim Hotels from Germany will soon enjoy the 579 rooms in the 110-metre hotel tower, the highest in Amsterdam North, in combination with a conference and congress center with the capacity to host over 4,400 guests. Next to it the 100-meter-high Yvie residential tower is also coming together with its complex but spectacular natural stone cladded balconies, where Stay City form Ireland will open 120 extended stay apartments and 176 apartments & penthouses will soon be ready for occupation.

Il 15 febbraio si è tenuto il Forum Italia-Romania, evento a cui ha partecipato anche Rizzani de Eccher, già impegnata nel paese con due importanti progetti di infrastruttura stradale.

Tra gli interventi, quello del Ministro delle infrastrutture e trasporti rumeno che ha sottolineato l’importanza strategica del potenziamento delle infrastrutture rumene: strade, ferrovie e porti con investimenti previsti nei prossimi dieci anni per oltre 12 miliardi di euro su strade, autostrade e ferrovie in parte finanziati dalla comunità europea.

Entrambi i progetti nei quali è coinvolta Rizzani de Eccher, stanno procedendo bene. La cintura di Craiova è in fase avanzata, con il 60% completato e l'apertura al traffico prevista entro la fine dell'anno. Una volta ultimata, questa nuova strada migliorerà notevolmente il flusso del traffico attraverso la città di Craiova.

Anche il progetto di Bucarest è significativo, con il raddoppio di un tratto della cintura interna sud. Le opere d'arte previste, come i sottopassi e i sovrapassi complessi, aggiungeranno valore e fluidità al sistema stradale della città. La razionalizzazione dei sottoservizi e l'aggiunta di rotonde sono anche interventi necessari per migliorare l'efficienza complessiva della rete stradale.

È incoraggiante vedere investimenti in infrastrutture stradali di questo tipo, per il significativo impatto sulla mobilità e sull'economia delle città interessate.

On February 15, the Italy-Romania Forum was held, an event also attended by Rizzani de Eccher, already involved in the country with two major road infrastructure projects.

Some of the speeches included the one by the Romanian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, who emphasized the strategic importance of upgrading Romania's infrastructure: roads, railways and ports with investments of more than 12 billion euros planned over the next ten years on roads, highways and railways partly financed by the European community.

Both projects in which Rizzani de Eccher is involved are progressing well. The Craiova beltway is at an advanced stage, with 60 percent completed and opening to traffic expected by the end of the year. Once completed, this new road will greatly improve traffic flow through the city of Craiova.

The Bucharest project is also significant, with the doubling of a section of the southern inner belt. Planned artwork, such as complex underpasses and overpasses, will add value and fluidity to the city's road system. The rationalization of underpasses and the addition of traffic circles are also necessary interventions to improve the overall efficiency of the road network.

It is encouraging to see investment in road infrastructure of this kind because of the significant impact on mobility and the economy of the cities involved. ... See MoreSee Less
