Description
Implementation of a Waste Water Treatment and Disposal Facility for handling the industrial and domestic waste water generated by the inhabitants of the so-called “Southern Friuli Basin”, consisting of 6 municipalities nearby the Marano and Grado lagoon.
The installation comprised domestic/household and industrial waste water collection and conveying systems within the basin, a waste water treatment facility, a discharge and disposal (in the sea) of the treated material, an anaerobic treatment system (BIOPAQ), and a sludge incinerating system.
The maximum capacity of the installation was rated at approx. 700.000 l, with the thereto corresponding inhabitant occupancy and a maximum hourly output of 7.862 m3.
