Description

Design and construction of Hamad International Airport Terminal 1 Metro Station, integrated switchbox, and pedestrian interconnector bridge.

The Qatar National Vision aims to transform Qatar into an advanced country by 2030, capable of sustaining its own development and providing for a high standard of living, for all its people for generations to come.

HIA T1 Metro Station is an underground station located inside the New Doha International Airport.
At the west end, a path composed by a bridge crossing above the local traffic road connects the station with the west side of the HIA.

For this project, the RnR Joint Venture formed by Rizzani de Eccher and Redco International Trading and Contracting was awarded the GSAS Certificates for Construction Management achieving Class A rating and for Design & Build achieving 4 star rating.
