Description
The Manhattan West platform project is the first phase of Brookfield Properties development project – a development of a 2.6-acre platform located above an open rail yard just West of Pennsylvania station in New York City.
Rizzani de Eccher, through its subsidiaries Deal and Tensacciai built the platform over railroad tracks using post-tension precast segmental technology which is common in bridge construction, and which allowed for the construction of the office towers without disrupting the passage of trains.
